Community Organizer Program

HomeGrown is The Apartment Company’s resident education and community-building program, creating opportunities for people to learn, connect, grow, and thrive right where they live.

Led by our Community Organizer, Juan, HomeGrown brings residents together through hands-on activities, community events, annual traditions, online classes, technology support, and everyday skill-building. Residents can get their hands in the soil through our community gardens—planting, learning, and enjoying what we grow together—while other activities encourage creativity, connection, and practical learning.

We’re also developing Maker Spaces where residents can create, experiment, and learn through hands-on projects. At its heart, HomeGrown is about creating a stronger sense of community and meeting residents where they are—whether that means learning something new, getting a little help, growing something from the ground up, or simply having fun and connecting with neighbors.
